New statistics have been released to show the life expectancy rate across the UK. The data, released by the Office of National Statistics last week, shows a varying degree of life expectancy across the country, with women outliving men in every area.
People living in Kensington and Chelsea lived the longest, and the shortest life expectancy is registered in Glasgow City.
Across the country, the data shows that women have longer lives then men.
The life expectancies of men vary across the country, with men in the south east, and east living longest.
Men live for just over 75 years old in Scotland; the lowest rate in the country. The data for men varies considerably from that of women, who live longer than men across the whole of the country.
The data shows that women in all areas of the country live to be at least over 80 years old.
The comparison between the data for men and for women is considerable, with women outliving men across all areas of the country.
